Flowers are fun to paint! Colorful and happy but also challenging. In this one-day workshop, we will discuss the complexities of the floral composition, how to create beautiful color, creating interest using organic and inorganic shapes, the use of warms and cools, gray tones vs. vibrant color, complimentary color, and values, saying more with less.
The class will start with a floral painting demonstration. During this time Sally will discuss her unique process of painting flowers. After a lunch break, Sally will assist students in working on their own flower paintings.
Be ready for a fun day of creating beautiful flowers!
