In this class, we will learn to draw a human figure in the studio with a model. We will cover concepts and principles of drawing that inform our work: our proportions, clarity, and mark-making ability. I am here to guide and give recommendations, but the journey itself is yours.

Overview: 

I am here to share principles and methods. I can help identify areas that may need simplification or clarification. When drawing the human form, I have approached the drawing process from every angle I can conceive. I am here to share my findings and the quickest routes to success. Are you seeking more refined illustrations? Maybe more impressionist or expressive artwork? I love it all and am happy to help us all achieve new frontiers of excellence.

• Newsprint Paper Pad or Sketch Paper 18”x24” (or your choice of paper & size, but no smaller than 11”x17”) 
• Drawing board (a piece of masonite will do. Merely a surface to place paper.)
• Big clips
